Not Just an
Ordinary Love Story
Rob and Mativa met at their favorite bar in St. Petersburg, FL. They still can't agree who started going there first. From there, they started their relationship semi-long distance. She lived in Riverview, FL and he lived in St. Petersburg. He would go to her place on Thursdays for BOGO boneless wings at BWW. She'd go to his part of town for the weekends.
By 2020, they were tired of driving to see each other, so they decided Mativa and the girls would move into Rob's apartment. They share so many great memories there, especially with Mativa's late brother, Kjonn.
In 2022, after moving the family into a larger townhouse, they decided to adopt an adorable puppy named Henry!
In November of 2022, after searching for years, they finally found a beautiful home in Land O' Lakes. It's a little farther from St. Petersburg than they are used to, but they're all happy in their beautiful home together.
In March 2023, Rob surprised Mativa with a trip to Mexico. They stayed at the sister hotel of Ocean Riviera Paradise and Rob proposed to Mativa at the on-site Italian restaurant. Mativa said yes and now begins the rest of their love story! To be continued... :)
